For the League, celebration translates to action and that's why our Voter Services Committee was VERY busy in the last week providing voter education to our youngest voting generation. | The LWV of Broward County invites all Leaguers to a special presentation on October 8th 7pm via zoom, in relation to the Mid-Decade Redistricting efforts. The presentation will focus on major issues dominating partisan politics in Florida, mid-decade redistricting, changes in election rules and recent litigation, and voting patterns on statewide ballot measures.
Guest speaker: Dr. Daniel A. Smith, a Professor and former Chair of Political Science at the University of Florida
