LWVOC adopted six entire precincts for the August Primary, as well as two partial precincts and a single volunteer joined another precinct. That equates to approximately 820 volunteer hours infusing our Treasury with up to $14,000! Many thanks to these dedicated League members, repeatedly giving so much of their time, energy and skills. And also, for all of you who contributed food for FOP (Feed our Precincts) and sustained them with meals, drinks, and snacks, THANK YOU! Hot Topics will recenter what voters really need to know about the candidates for State Attorney of the Ninth Judicial Circuit. Moderator Fred Lauten, former chief judge of the circuit will navigate thoughtful questions with that in mind:
- What do you view as the biggest challenge to the state attorney’s office? If elected, what would you do to address that challenge?
- How long have you practiced criminal law?
- Who are your legal role models, and why?
| | Register HERE We're responding to suggestions for more events that take place in the evening with our newest offering.
